The International Energy Agency's most recent World Energy Outlook, a projection of world energy demand and supply out to 2010, was released in the spring of 1993.1 Given energy and environmental policies as we know them today, and under a set of assumptions on oil prices,' economic growth, resource availability and other factors, the Outlook points to a picture of:
